Location: Boucherville Salary: $75,000 per year + expense account + annual bonus Job category: Food production and services Type of job: Permanent Schedule: Day shift with flexible hours, and one evening per week between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Tasks

  • Promote workplace prevention and develop a culture of health and safety.
  • Advise, guide, and support managers in prevention and awareness efforts.
  • Contribute to the implementation, execution, and updating of the prevention plan as well as health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct workplace accident investigations in collaboration with the Health and Safety Specialist (HSS).
  • Lead information, awareness, and training activities on prevention.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions for the onboarding of new employees.
  • Coordinate and lead the division's health and safety committee, ensuring its effective functioning and progress.
  • Conduct workplace inspections and ensure follow-up on corrective measures.
  • Coordinate the training of workplace first responders and first aid training.
  • Perform any other related tasks as required.

Job requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of the LSST and LATMP regulations.
  • Bilingualism with advanced proficiency in English (approximately 50% of the time) to communicate with clients.
