We are looking for an experienced Bilingual Recruitment Advisor to join our growing organization. Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the provision of a professional, quality talent acquisition service by performing a range of duties within the full cycle recruitment.

This role can be based from our Head Office in Brossard, Québec. This is an on-site position.

Job Overview:

The Recruitment Advisor is responsible for the provision of a professional, quality talent acquisition service by performing a range of duties within the full cycle recruitment. This includes (but is not limited to): job requisition creation, job posting strategy (including preparing and posting job ads), applicant management, resume screening, short-listing and assessing candidates in conjunction with the hiring managers and the preparation (and presentation) of employment agreements.

The role will also assist with developing and implementing 'new hire' onboarding process, driving ad hoc projects such as continuous improvement of our ATS processes, as well as monthly/quarterly/yearly data reporting (via Excel) as needed.

The Recruitment Advisor will drive to help champion and facilitate a 'best practice' recruitment portfolio as well as to identify - and secure - the best available candidates for our vacancies, with a strong attention to detail and ensuring accuracy in all HR related work.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work closely with the Recruitment Manager to coordinate and help manage the recruitment process: create, post and monitor job ads, screen applicant resumes, forward short-list of candidates to hiring managers, etc.
  • Work closely with the Recruitment Coordinators to ensure processes are consistent and collaboratively work towards continuous improvement within our recruitment practices
  • Counsel hiring managers on the recruitment process: develop recruitment strategy with them, identify their needs
  • Assist the Recruitment Manager with communicating with all external partners (i.e., Indeed.ca) in ensuring we maintain an effective and responsive partnership
  • Work in collaboration with HR and Payroll team when required
  • In collaboration with hiring managers, search for potential candidates using social media platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Assist preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
  • Assist in updating and revisiting posting templates and posted job ads based on the changing needs of the business / dental practice
  • Bring new and innovative ideas forward to improve our recruitment processes and candidate experience such as, identifying alternative recruitment platforms to post, and headhunting applicants for the hard to fill / urgent need vacancies and working with external recruitment services
  • Ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations, and company policies
  • Prepare employment agreements (offer letters) and organize New Hire onboarding
  • Draft general recruitment reports, and memos as necessary, such as employment agreements/changes, on-boarding, etc.
  • Conducts regular recruitment reports to identify current recruitment needs and future trends
  • Any other duties as assigned by your leader or Director.

Education, Credentials, Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years in a high-volume Recruitment role with increasing levels of responsibilities. Health care environment is an asset
  • Undergraduate Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Commerce or a related field is considered an asset. CPHR designation or working towards is desirable
  • Bilingual (French & English ) is a requirement

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge and understanding of recruiting and sourcing techniques
  • Experience with HR related systems or tools such as an HRIS such as ADP, Indeed, LinkedIn
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
  • Proven ability to prioritize duties/projects, multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment with constant demands.
  • Ability to make reasonable decisions
  • Strong customer service orientation, sensitive to hiring needs of the Regional Managers and understanding importance of diplomacy and confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
