We are recruiting for an experienced Campus Recruitment Manager to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. This role can be based in our corporate head office - Burnaby, Toronto or Brossard, QC. This is an on-site position.

Job Overview:

The Campus Recruitment Manager will be responsible in executing our campus recruitment efforts, ensuring we attract, engage, and hire top emerging talent for critical roles within our dental clinics.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Industry Research

  • Conduct in-depth market research on trends in campus hiring, competitor strategies, and emerging talent expectations to refine and enhance recruitment initiatives.
  • Proactively identify and explore strategic partnerships with academic institutions, industry organizations, and student groups to support hiring objectives.
  • Adapt strategies to regional and national trends, ensuring alignment with the company's workforce planning goals and long-term talent needs.

Business Stakeholder Alignment & Proactive Planning

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring a regular cadence of alignment and proactive planning around hiring needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, helping to shape the early-career talent pipeline and ensuring campus recruitment aligns with overall business objectives.

Employer Brand Positioning & Candidate Engagement

  • Craft compelling employer branding messaging that positions 123Dentist as the employer of choice for early-career dental professionals.
  • Support the development of creative recruitment campaigns across digital, social media, and on-campus platforms to increase brand awareness among students and faculty.
  • Ensure a consistent and engaging brand presence at recruitment events, career fairs, and online platforms.
  • Explore and implement new technologies and digital engagement strategies (e.g., virtual career fairs, social media activations, interactive content) to connect with students and promote the company's employer brand.

Campus Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key universities, dental schools, and industry organizations to ensure a steady pipeline of top talent.
  • Cultivate and expand pipelining relationships with schools, ensuring ongoing engagement with students and faculty beyond the traditional recruiting cycle.
  • Lead and develop campus ambassador programs that empower current employees and interns to advocate for the company.

Education, Credentials, Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Commerce, or a related field preferred; CPHR designation or progress towards it is desirable.
  • 6-8 years of experience in a high-volume recruitment role with increasing responsibilities; experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
  • Experience in developing and executing campus recruitment strategies.
  • Current knowledge and understanding of best practices including effective approaches to attraction, recruitment and selection in the Campus recruitment space

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with Partners, candidates, and other stakeholders
  • Solid leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and guide team members, foster collaboration, and drive performance improvements.
  • Knowledge and understanding of recruiting and sourcing techniques
  • A continuous improvement mindset, always striving to improve the candidate, client and recruiter experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
  • Proficient in HR-related systems and tools, such as ATS, HRIS (e.g., ADP),
  • Proven ability to prioritize duties/projects, multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment with constant demands.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Customer service-oriented, with a sensitivity to hiring needs of the Regional Leaders and understanding importance of diplomacy and confidentiality
  • Advanced level proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • Bilingual is an asset
  • A valid driver's license is required
