Job Description:

Together, and through our global network of partners, the Culture and Talent Brand team shapes how Sun Life is experienced and perceived internally and externally around the world.

Culture management ensures "the way we do things around here" evolves with the needs of our business so that our underlying norms, mindsets and behaviours help us deliver on our strategy, achieve our purpose, and position us as an employer of choice.

Talent Branding actively cultivates a strong, positive image for Sun Life that reflects our evolving culture; inspiring pride and attracting and retaining talent.

The Culture and Talent Brand Program Manager oversees various programs, projects and communications that support our integrated global Culture Management and Talent Brand efforts.

What will you do?

  • Manages a portfolio of short- and long-term projects in alignment with culture management and talent brand objectives, develops project plans and timelines with key dependencies, deliverables, and milestones

  • Collaborates with cross-functional and global teams, including HR, global marketing, corporate communications and other stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are met

  • Monitors and reports on project progress to leadership, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions

  • Partners with leader to activate and sustain a thriving culture and talent brand global community of practice (CoP)

  • Supports drafting and/or editing of culture management and talent brand updates for various audiences including CoP, Talent Partners, HRET, board

  • Conducts periodic reviews of culture management activities across Sun Life, summarizing qualitative and quantitative insights for leadership discussions

  • Leads the global strategy for Great Place to Work, coordinating efforts across HRBPs, communications, people analytics and other stakeholders to drive an integrated approach

What do you need to succeed?

  • Build, maintain and leverage relationships with leaders and other stakeholders globally

  • Influence without direct authority so that others take action/meet deadlines

  • Define and execute project plans, with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Take ownership of a portfolio of work, demonstrating initiative and ability to execute

  • Build and deliver compelling presentations and project/ program status updates to a variety of audiences

  • Explore and understand data, extracting insights to expose opportunities, drive decisions and inform action plans

  • Experience in culture management, Employee value proposition, communications or talent brand an asset

  • As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
