Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern, I &T - Organizational Change Management and Communications position in Montreal, QC from May - Aug 2025.

Job Summary

The Intern, Information and Technology (I&T) - Organizational Change Management (OCM) and Communications is responsible for supporting efforts in change management, communication, and training activities for CN's Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) S/4HANA Transformation Program. The incumbent collaborates with the Business and I&T stakeholders to ensure that people, process, and technology changes are prioritized, change management best practices are applied, and CN's communication guidelines are followed, ensuring the adoption of new ways of working.

Major Responsibilities

  • Support stakeholder engagement and communications activities
  • Draft communications, follow the review cycles and approval, and ensure the communication plan is updated
  • Support change management efforts, including communication campaigns, training, which entails co-ordination and logistics, stakeholder engagement activities, and readiness surveys as CN adjusts transformation program and roll-outs multiple activities to the business
  • Assist with the preparation of comprehensive documentation, including presentations, data summaries such as Excel files and score cards as well as different communication materials that include infographics, placemats, and one pager to update business leaders on changes impacting their functions
  • Collaborate with the OCM and the extended Program team to find improvement opportunities and provide recommendations

Education

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program, preferably in a field related to Industrial Organizational (IO) Psychology, Human Resources (HR), or Business with a major or minor in HR, Communications or Adult Learning

*Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
