In this role, you will support clients who are at or approaching retirement by guiding, and recommending wealth and insurance solutions relevant to their unique situations.

As a member of the Client Solutions Centre (CSC) you will benefit from our culture of coaching and support; through motivational and inspirational leadership your Retirement Sales Manager will empower you to make a difference in our clients' lives.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, Client Solutions you will:
Proactively call and receive calls from existing Group Retirement Savings plan members who are retiring or approaching retirement in order to assist them through their retirement income options
Assess clients' insurance needs with the goal of providing the appropriate solutions for life insurance, health & dental and critical illness
Help clients be 'retirement ready' through the use of planning tools
Conduct investment risk assessments and provide solutions aligned with their investment profile
Introduce clients to a Sun Life Advisor to assist with an identified need for holistic financial advice
Foster and participate in a work environment that values people, invites creativity, and celebrates learning
Stay informed of departmental and industry product, policy, and procedure changes
Contribute to the CSC's ongoing success by sharing feedback and providing insights that will help to improve our client experience
Required skills:
A valid and active Life License in Ontario (LLQP) or Insurance of person license in Quebec (1a), is a requirement of this role
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Designation
Minimum 3 years of related sales and/or service experience (sales experience preferred)
Excellent communication skills
As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.
Schedule:
Our Client Service Centre takes calls from clients between the hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Employees are scheduled for a consistent shift three out of four weeks. Most employees work 9-5 p.m. or 10-6 p.m. Typical shifts are as follows:
8-4 p.m.
9-5 p.m.
10-6 p.m.
12 - 8 p.m.
Your Manager will work with you to identify a primary shift that works best for your needs i.e. 10-6 p.m. You will work this shift for 3 weeks and on the 4th week you may be scheduled for a less popular shift time i.e. 12 - 8 p.m.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
