Job Description:

Support instructor-led training administration.

For example:

  • Coordination of participants and subject matter experts

  • Maintain updated information in the learning management system and learning articles in Workday

  • Handle registration and enrollment processes

  • Ensure participants receive necessary pre-session information

  • Send reminder communications

  • Track program attendance

  • Coordinate training surveys and extract data results

  • Provide technical support in large group sessions

  • Coordinate live session calendar in partnership with other Growth & Development team members

  • Update Workday articles with post work and recordings after each session

  • Prepare and distribute training materials (including manuals and online resources), invoicing vendors. Management of shared learning inboxes, serving as a point of contact for clients, instructors, and participants, addressing questions and resolving issues

  • Learning metrics reporting on a regular basis for various programs

  • Coordinate Sun Life's education assistance programs and other learning programs such as LOMA to support employees through their growth and development

  • Assist with invoicing and logistics for training events and instructor assignments

What do you need to succeed?

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Familiar with learning management systems

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites

  • Preference will be given to candidates with a focus on learning, development and training

  • Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide

  • 1-3 years of relevant working experience in Training, Learning and Development, HR Assistant or similar role

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
