Allied Universal® is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Training Manager (Bilingual) to oversee and implement security training programs. This role is crucial in ensuring that all security personnel are properly trained to manage safety, compliance, and emergency situations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in security management, and experience in creating and delivering training programs. This position is reporting to the office of Global Security Training Department, North America.

Title: Site Training Manager (Bilingual)

Location: Pointe-Claire (Montreal)

Type: Permanent Full-Time

Salary Range: $ 34.00 - $35.54

Shift: Monday to Friday

Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for security staff, including emergency response, incident management, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on various topics such as orientation, on-the-job-training, access control, conflict resolution, and security technologies.
  • Assess and evaluate staff performance to ensure the training is effective and aligns with company policies, site requirements and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments and clients to tailor training programs specific to the site's operational needs.
  • Monitor compliance with security regulations and company policies, and provide corrective training as needed.
  • Update training materials regularly to ensure they reflect current best practices and legal requirements.
  • Lead periodic drills and simulations to test preparedness, adjusting training methods based on results.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to security professionals and management to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new training methods, and legal requirements related to site security.
  • Report on training progress and security team readiness to senior management.
  • Maintain training records, ensure ongoing compliance with site and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Post Secondary Education, in Security Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in security management or training roles.
  • Must be fluent in both French and English (verbal and written)
  • Proven experience in developing or delivering training programs.
  • Knowledge of provincial regulations related to site security and safety.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Certification in security training or emergency management is considered an asset.
  • Previous work experience, providing security services in a Data Center environment is an asset.

Skills:

  • Must possess strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage diverse audiences and deliver clear, impactful training.
  • Proficiency in security technologies (CCTV, access control, alarm systems).
  • Familiarity with safety and risk assessment procedures.
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
