We are seeking a Compensation and HRIS Technician to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This hybrid role combines responsibilities in compensation management and the administration of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). You will play a key role in managing HR data and implementing compensation policies while ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the HRIS.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Compensation:

  • Assist in implementing compensation policies and strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Conduct market studies to compare and assess internal and external salary data.
  • Contribute to the development and management of salary grids.
  • Prepare and analyze salary data reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate in managing annual performance evaluations and salary adjustment processes.
  • Maintain the pay equity file up to date, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Prepare and update reports related to pay equity for internal audits or regulatory submissions.

2. HRIS Administration:

  • Manage and maintain the HRIS on a daily basis, ensuring data accuracy and currency.
  • Configure new modules and update functionalities based on company needs.
  • Train internal users on HRIS functionalities and provide technical support.
  • Generate HR reports and dashboards from the HRIS to support management teams.
  • Identify and resolve technical or functional issues related to the system.

3. General Support:

  • Collaborate with the HR team on various projects, such as benefits management and HR audits.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes through optimized HRIS utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with HR practices in line with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

Skills and Requirements:

  • College diploma in Human Resources combined with 2-3 years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree in human resources with one year of experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to compensation and/or HRIS systems.
  • Proficiency in one or more HRIS platforms (e.g., HiBob, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
  • High attention to detail, rigor, and ability to handle confidential data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English. English is required for our international divisions.

Assets:

  • Knowledge of compensation management principles and salary market studies.
  • Experience in project management or process improvement within HR.
