The Lac La Ronge Indian Band, Executive Office is now accepting applications for the following full-time permanent position, based out of Hall Lake, SK:

COMMUNITY PATROLLING OFFICER

The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
• Guard the property against fire, suspicious behaviour, theft, vandalism and forced entry;
• Patrol community, buildings, grounds and all community areas by vehicle as specified by employer;
• Regularly check security vehicle and report any maintenance requests to Public Works;
• Observes or examine doors, windows and gates to ensure they are properly secured;
• Watch for and report irregularities to supervisor and other agencies (RCMP or Fire Department);
• Work independently with minimal supervision;
• Provide written and verbal reports with attention to factual details;
• Other duties of a similar nature as may be assigned from time to time.

The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Security Guard training course or related work experience may be considered;
• Grade 12 diploma;
• Previous experience in the security industry will be an asset;
• Ability to deal with the public in a respective, assertive manner;
• Must be able to pass RCMP Security Clearance;
• Have CPR/First Aid/AED certificate or be willing to complete in the first year of employment;
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and be able to provide an acceptable Driver's Abstract;
• Have access to a reliable vehicle is preferred;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential;
• Punctual, honest & reliable.
• Ability to speak Cree is an asset.
