It's about being an integral part of a team who is committed to the implementation, coordination, administration, and promotion of Tolko's safety program to ensure every single person, at our mill, goes home safely every single day.

We're looking for a Safety Facilitator to join our Meadow Lake OSB division, located in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. Meadow Lake employs 155 employees and safely and sustainably produces 730 million square feet of OSB every year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• General knowledge of OSB manufacturing process
• Experience in development, organization and delivery of relevant training programs is essential.
• Grade 12 education or equivalent is required.
• Additional training/education specific to safety is preferred.
• Completed or working towards Occupational Health and Safety Certificate/Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient use of various office-based software including, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a desire to learn and innovate.

Your workday will look something like this:

• You work alongside the Safety and Asset Protection Advisor to maintain safety compliance.
• You identify and develop program plans and actions to implement Tolko's OHS program.
• You focus on standardizing safety training materials and implementing strategic safety plans.
• You coordinate and/or participate in safety training for employees and contractors at the mill.
