Job Description: Workforce Planning and Employment Strategies (WPES) Associate is responsible for performing key functions within the Human Resources portfolio including providing support to programming and initiatives within the Workforce Planning and Employment Strategies portfolio. The associate is responsible for supporting Specialists with the development, coordination and delivery of programming and initiatives, performing best practice research and evaluation, sourcing candidates for hard to recruit classifications, maintaining key internal databases and work standards and any other functions required to support the portfolio. In some areas of the province, these roles support affiliate organization employment related functions.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

  • 1+ years experience in Human Resources

Education

  • Human Resources diploma
  • Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)
  • Business Administration diploma (DBA)
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor of Human Resources is acceptable
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
